If you are not familiar with Usenet, it is a wonderful source of information. There are literally tens of thousands of newsgroups available for your perusal and participation. Of particular interest is the rec.bicycles hierarchy.

Moreover, Usenet postings (since 1995) are archived, meaning that you can easily search for previous discussions on how to change a bottom bracket, how to improve your technical mountain biking, or any other topic you can think of. Give it a try!

Finally, be sure to check out the rec.bicycling FAQ (frequently asked questions). Seriously, if the answer to your question isn't in here...it probably doesn't exist.
